The Department of General Surgery aims to serve Karabük and its surroundings with its scientifically based and experienced team in a team spirit.

   Minimally invasive surgical procedures (surgeries performed with closed or small incisions) methods, which are currently used in the field of General Surgery, are also applied in our clinic. Many diseases related to the gastrointestinal system can be diagnosed earlier with the endoscopic applications (gastroscopy, colonoscopy) developed today. For this purpose, Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal System endoscopies are widely used in General Surgery Clinics, both diagnostic and interventional (biopsy, etc.).

   One of the most important stages of the treatment of General Surgery patients is that the patient will be able to return to her/his old life as soon as possible after the surgery. Thanks to the application of current diagnosis, treatment and follow-up methods, a diagnosis can be made quickly. The most appropriate treatment and subsequent follow-up method are selected.
